Why do we need Salvation from God?
No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born
again. (John 3:3, NIV)
For all have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God.
(Romans 3:23, NIV)
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we
were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8, NIV)
For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only
Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
(John 3:16, NIV)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23, NIV)
How do we receive Salvation from God?
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is
Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. For everyone who
calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:9-10, 13, NIV)
If you would like to receive forgiveness of your sins and
receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, pray the following prayer, or
a similar one in your own words.
Dear God, I confess that I have sinned and am sorry
for my sins. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that your Son, Jesus,
died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I ask Jesus to
come into my life as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen
