“Restoration”
If
there ever was a time we needed “restoration” in our lives, it is NOW!
There is great hope found in the book of Nehemiah of that very
outcome…a story of what can happen when one man receives “Vision”
from the Heavenly Father, and acts in obedience to His word!
Nehemiah was a trustworthy man holding great responsibility as the
cupbearer to King Artaxerxes. He
asks for permission to return to his homeland and finds favor with the
King returning to Jerusalem. He demonstrates courage, compassion for the
oppressed, integrity, godliness, and selflessness.
He was dedicated to God’s work, was an encourager, a man of
prayer, and gives all credit and glory to God!
Men, it is time we exhibit those characteristics and rebuild the
walls of our “homes”, for
nothing is impossible for those who believe!
This
week-end, we will visit four main areas of restoration… Return, Rebuild, Revive, Reform…we will look at
Nehemiah’s life and relate it to ourselves in rebuilding the walls of
our homes, taking back what the enemy has tried to destroy.
Just as the walls of Jerusalem had been broken down and they were
vulnerable to their enemies, so have our walls been compromised…it’s
time to rebuild and take back what the enemy has tried to steal from our
families. As husbands and
fathers we have been given the responsibility to rebuild our walls!
Need encouragement and the tools to rebuild…then this is the
place to be…don’t miss an opportunity to be strengthened for the
“Restoration” you need in your lives!

FROG RETREAT
(Fully Rely On God)
This retreat focuses on surrendering your cares, your worries, and truly giving God control in your life! What a novel idea...putting God first, believing His Word, and applying what He says o our lives...do you think we might just have more peace and joy in our lives? Not only do you need this time away, you may have a friend or family member who needs it too!
There's not a better place to rest in the Lord's arms than "A TASTE OF HEAVEN" ...a beautiful cabin, nestled in the North
Georgia Mountains, anointed and set apart for such a time as this! You will enjoy time with sisters in the Lord, soak in the hot tub, have a shopping excursion in the quaint little towns around North
Georgia, sit on the deck and look out on a three state view! (Tennessee,
North Carolina, and Georgia!)... enjoy a breathtaking sunset, or sit and read in one of the rockers, and listen to the frogs serenade you at night! This cabin above Blue Ridge has something for everyone...come taste and see the Lord is good!

Blue Ridge in the beautiful North Georgia mountains,
A Taste of Heaven...and it is!
(a three state view...which includes TN and NC)
This retreat is designed for those women who many times are behind the
scenes praying for, mentoring, raising children, and being the encourager
for their spouses and congregation to fulfill the call of God on their lives. We want to take
time out to recognize their countless efforts of being who God called
them to be...co-laborers with their spouses. Whether these women are teaching
by leading Bible Studies, filling in as nursery workers, or countless other positions
in the church, they are precious to our Heavenly Father and play a vital role in
touching the lives of countless souls. We desire to honor these Women of Worth.
Special surprises are planned for our "Brides"...so bring swimsuits
for the hot tub, casual clothes to relax in, a camera for Kodak moments,
and trust us there will be plenty of those...some shopping time in the
little antique stores of Blue Ridge, and did I mention food, fun, and
fellowship...an awesome time to make new friends and encourage
one another...Come and be filled...so that you might spill out onto others!

a Hoot…that’s why we need our Hooter

Have you ever
heard someone say...that's a hoot! It is an expression I have used
for many years, and as a friend and I were talking one day, she said that
very thing, "Judy, that's a hoot"
and I said to her, "That's my phrase"...thus we named ourselves "the Hooter Sisters". We
have had more laughs than I can can count, and we want to share that joy
with you. Every week God places women in my life who have lost their
joy and peace due to life circumstances. Our desire is to help you
find your joy again, put it in a safe spot (called your heart), and teach
God's life changing word about how to hold on to your joy and peace...for
your very life depends upon it. Life will throw you lemons, but you
can make lemonade, with God's help...and the help of your Hooter sisters!
